Come And See Project

Meet Jesus

The person at the heart of our faith.

Jesus invites us into a relationship with God. Catholics believe he is the Son of God, who became truly human, lived among us, and opened the way to new life through his death and Resurrection.

An invitation, not an entrance exam.

In the Gospels, Jesus meets people in the middle of ordinary life. He calls fishermen, shares meals, heals the sick, and offers forgiveness. His invitation reaches people who have questions as well as people who already believe.

When two disciples ask where he is staying, Jesus invites them to come and see. That simple invitation is the inspiration for this project.

“Come, and you will see.”

Why the Resurrection matters.

Christian faith rests on the belief that Jesus rose from the dead. His Resurrection gives us hope that sin and death do not have the last word, and that life with God is possible.

Start with a few quiet minutes.

Read a short passage from a Gospel. Notice what Jesus says and how people respond. If you want to pray, you can begin simply: “Jesus, help me to know you.” You can bring your questions, gratitude, or uncertainty.
